The CIB is an active and vibrant focal point for life science activities at Utah State University. A multifaceted core facility at USU, the CIB is dedicated to agricultural and environmental biotechnology research. The Center's scientists and staff work together to further our core components: Research, a Core Service Lab Facility, Biotechnology Training and Student Education.

Services

Our core labs consist of genomics, genotyping, proteomics, flow cytometry, and bioprocessing, all providing fee-for-service offerings to life scientists both on-campus and off. We offer Illumina Next Generation Sequencing.

Research

The research group has several active and diverse projects that involve cloning, microbial genomics, and vaccine capacity building. Our projects include collaborators from many disciplines, on-campus and off-campus, academic and industrial.
